Context
Online sellers expanding beyond a single storefront face a compounding problem: every new marketplace means another login, another product listing process, another inventory count to reconcile, and another set of orders to track. Most sellers manage this with spreadsheets and manual copy-paste across platforms — a process that breaks down quickly as SKU counts and order volumes grow.

SmartSeller was built to solve this from the ground up. Rather than bolting integrations onto an existing tool, we designed and developed a purpose-built e-commerce platform where sellers create and manage their online store in one place, and the platform automatically synchronizes products, inventory, pricing, and orders across every connected marketplace — Shopify, Amazon, eBay, Lazada, and more.
Challenges
- Listing a product on a new marketplace meant recreating it from scratch — different formats, different rules, different image sizes — and keeping every version updated whenever anything changed.
- A sale on Amazon didn't update stock on eBay or Shopify. The result: overselling, cancelled orders, and damaged seller reputation. The more marketplaces a seller added, the worse this problem became.
- Orders were scattered across marketplace dashboards with no single view. Sellers had to check each platform separately, process fulfillment differently per channel, and manually reconcile what shipped where.
- Most sellers aren't developers, but still needed professional, mobile-friendly online stores with payment processing, SEO, and discount management — without hiring a web team.
- Marketing efforts were siloed by channel. Running a promotion meant configuring it separately on each marketplace, with no unified view of what was actually driving sales across the business.
